It does sound like your tow vehicle is getting a charge on it's battery but it's not significant enough of a charge to keep it topped off since the wire is a lighter gauge. You might need to drop down to an 8 gauge wire which is not one we carry.

The axle bracket can be located on either the driver or passenger side and the tie rod bracket (B802) can be located on top or bottom side of the tie rod.
